In ultimul deceniu Hyundai a evoluat  furtunos, punctul culminand fiind atins in acest an, datorita modelului sau Genesis. Sedanul a facut figura buna si a castigat premiul “Masina anului 2009 in America de Nord”, la inceputul anului, desi era comercializat de numai cateva luni.
